If you've ever had an interest in trapping, YOU are who I made this site for.
I LOVE to trap. There's just something about matching wits with an animal, on his own turf, that excites me. And the satisfaction when you know you got the best of him, or even when you know he gets the best of you (which happens more than I care to admit!)
I run into so many people who are interested in trapping, but never get around to pursuing it. I understand, trapping is not something you can just step into. It takes a serious investment of time, and money, to get started trapping, but I can assure you it is hugely rewarding. And not just in the game you catch or the fur you sell. There is an unspoken brotherhood, if you run into another trapper you've got common ground that you could talk for hours about.
If you want to learn step by step how to catch coyotes, and other predators, then you've come to the right place. You can sign up now and get a checklist of the tools you need to get started trapping, and a video walking you through the tools.
You'll also get an email series that will walk you through exactly what you need to know to get started trapping.
There's no time like the present to learn how to trap, and lets be honest, who doesn't want to kill more coyotes!
So you may be asking who is this guy and why should I listen to him. Well, I'm no world renowned coyote trapper, but I have caught my share of coyotes.
I've been trapping for 15 years and trapped across the south from Texas to South Carolina. I've even trapped foxes in Alaska. I've written articles for Trapper and Predator Caller, Trappers Post, Georgia Outdoor News, Alabama Outdoor News, and Woods N Water.
I'm not telling you all of this to blow my own horn, I just want you to know that I didn't slap all of this together last week. This is a compilation of years of experience and I wanted to find a good way to display it to as many people as possible.
I want the sport of trapping to grow and the only way to do that is to get more people involved.
And my goal is to provide the best information that I can. So if you've ever got a question or think I could explain something better feel free to let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org and if you want to get on the fast track to learning how to trap coyotes don't forget to sign up here.
